Shooting the past

22 draws – the top two are heaving  with football memorabilia – club badges and famous stars. All these blocks were used to produce football programmes from the early 60’s through to the late 70’s. As a result this is a really interesting find that documents the period and the processes used in printing. Logos from British Rail, Esso and loads more company’s are present along with 16 drawers full of metal typeset of different size and styles.

I will be updating with dimensions and some better photos of the chest – Id like to sell the football blocks as a job lot as I think its an amazing collection that would be a shame to split. There are 130 block portraits of legendary players – Bryan Douglas, Ronnie Clayton, George Best, Sir Bobby Charlton, John Galley, Derek Tapscott, John Greig, John Toshack, Frank Casper, Tom Finney, Ron Flowers, Gary Sprake, Billy Bremner and many more.  The chest is currently in the showroom – so please call in if you wish to take a closer look.

More stock arriving in the next two weeks – a beautiful completely refurbished dark grey button back 3 seater chesterfield will be here in the 2nd week of January.

I will be adding more stock as it arrives
